What is happening???

Yesterday my husband, Dave, had a very very bad gas all day long. Our bedroom was unbearable smell, actually I also contributed some. Don't know what was happening, could be from the food, of course both of us eat the same kind of food unless I didn't take Peter Pan peanut butter sandwich. Well...Dave said that Peter Pan peanut butter we bought has guarantee it's safe. Anyway, Dave's bad gas was getting worst in the evening plus he got stomach pain and 3 times he had to go to bathroom while I was okay unless my bad mood almost all day. Just out of blue I was really irritated by nothing then I was starting to clean up our second floor apartment that has been empty for years. Just imagine how thick the dirt was with broken water pipe, then I managed to run the garden water outlet through the window to get the water. So I had been very busy with that and then prepare something simple for evening meal and I didn't really pay attention to Dave. After I have done with everything and got fresh shower I saw Dave bundle up under fleece blanket. All this time Dave has not yet use that type of blanket because the temperature in the bedroom with heater on not so bad, so I noticed something was not right. I asked him, what is happening?? are you alright?? he said, he just feel cold and uncomfortable in his stomach and he still has gas. I remembered pill "chi-kit" that is good for upset stomach or minor diarrhea, right away I checked my personal medicine box and lucky I still had 2 packs. Somehow Dave didn't reject it while I asked him to drink it, perhaps because I said it's herbs which it really made from herbs. I said I will come back to check on him and let him rest while I continued my book. My mother-in-law, Maureen, lend me a book from Margaret Atwood, "The Handmaid's Tales".
2 hours later when I checked on Dave, he was watching TV and said he feels better and warm. He even pushed aside the fleece blanket that he used earlier. There is sad feeling to see your love one's face in pain or uncomfortable. I am glad at last he can get over it and I can sleep peacefully. It's not a very good weekend.
